Basketball Game Preview: Lisa Academy West vs. Pulaski Academy Bruins

Lisa Academy West will face off against the Pulaski Academy Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Tuesday, Lisa Academy West had to suffer through a 77-45 loss at the hands of Morrilton. While losing is never fun, Lisa Academy West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Morrilton is ranked 50th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pulaski Academy). They claimed a resounding 74-43 win over Heber Springs. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bruins as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lisa Academy West dropped their record down to 9-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pulaski Academy, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.
