The Freer Buckaroos put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Valley View as Freer made off with a 34-13 win. 34 seems to be a good number for Freer as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Freer found their leader in underclassman Gabbi Salinas, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Salinas has scored at least 25% of Freer's points. Another player making a difference was Jayda Washington, who scored 4 points along with 12 rebounds and 3 steals.
Freer's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Valley View, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
