Basketball Recap: Cheshire Takes Down Stratford in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Cheshire rose to the challenge on Saturday. They snuck past the Stratford Red Devils with a 43-38 victory.

Cheshire got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Allison Grove out in front who posted 20 points and four steals. Those four steals gave Grove a new career-high. Sydney Hale was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.

Cheshire's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Stratford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Cheshire will square off against Bethel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stratford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
