Basketball Recap: Maple River Skates Past Ellendale with Ease

Maple River entered their tilt with Ellendale on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Ellendale Cardinals 62-35.

Maple River now has a winning record of 20-19. As for Ellendale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Looking ahead, Maple River will face off against Martin County West at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Ellendale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
