Baseball Recap: Indian River Takes a Loss

Indian River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grassfield Grizzlies. The matchup marked the Braves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Indian River's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Grassfield, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian River will host Green Run at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grassfield, they will welcome North Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight.
