After both having extra time off, the Merritt Island Mustangs and the Hernando Leopards will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Merritt Island is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 19 games.

Merritt Island is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Satellite.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Hernando's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Weeki Wachee by a score of 3-2.

Merritt Island will have to contain Carlie Grant as she made an impact in Hernando's last game. She had 30 digs and two aces. Aubrey Knierim was another key player, getting 15 digs.

Merritt Island's victory bumped their record up to 25-2. As for Hernando, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.
