Poly has gone a perfect 10-0 against JW North recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Huskies at 3:15 p.m. Poly will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Poly came out on top against Arlington on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fourth inning. The Bears blew past the Lions 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.
Marley Audoma was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 23 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Cassandra Ayala was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Honesty Romero, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Poly kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for JW North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Liberty on Friday, sneaking past 11-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Huskies considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
The team relied heavily on Khloe Hernandez, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Xochitl Frias, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
JW North's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Poly, their win bumped their record up to 19-7.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Poly hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. However, it's not like JW North struggles in that department as they've averaged .373. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Poly was able to grind out a solid victory over JW North when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 9-5. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
