Volleyball Recap: Bandera Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kyra Blake and Taytum Moeller

Bandera was the 3-1 winner over Comfort when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The BULLDOGS fell just short of the Bobcats/Deer by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The BULLDOGS have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taytum Moeller and Kyra Blake certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Moeller had 17 digs, while Blake had nine assists and seven digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Pyper Barnard, who had two blocks and two aces.

Bandera's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Comfort, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Bandera will square off against Karnes City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Comfort, they will host Center Point at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
