Soccer Recap: West Point Has No Trouble Against Mae Jemison

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Point). They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Mae Jemison Jaguars on Monday. The score was close at the half, but the Warriors pulled away in the second half with four goals.

They hit Mae Jemison with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Georgia Metrock (2), Audrey Charney, Alexandra Guevara, and Amelia Ward.

The victory made it two in a row for West Point and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matches. As for Mae Jemison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

West Point wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Pennington on the 25th. As for Mae Jemison, they will take on Brewer at 5:00 p.m. on March 3rd.
