Basketball Recap: Coliseum College Prep Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Quarry Lane, Coliseum College Prep Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past Golden State Prep 49-47. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-47 back in December of 2024.

Coliseum College Prep Academy pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Golden State Prep, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Coliseum College Prep Academy will welcome KIPP King at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. KIPP King knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Coliseum College Prep Academy likes a good challenge. As for Golden State Prep, they will be playing at home against Bay Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bay Tech has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
