South Rowan has gone a perfect 7-0 against Lake Norman Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 5:30 p.m. South Rowan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
South Rowan's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over Carson. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
South Rowan got a great performance from Remi Hagerty as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, Cressley Patterson and Kynlee Dextraze did most of the damage at the plate: Patterson got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI, while Dextraze went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Dextraze a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexie Ritchie, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs.
South Rowan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carson only posted an OBP of .118.
Carson hit Lake Norman Charter with a four-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 5-4. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Abby Courtney was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. Carmella Hayes was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
South Rowan's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Lake Norman Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
Everything went South Rowan's way against Lake Norman Charter in their previous matchup back in March, as South Rowan made off with a 12-3 victory. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
