Baseball Recap: Melbourne Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain Home, Melbourne was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Salem Greyhounds by a score of 7-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 on April 1st.

Melbourne's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Salem, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.
