Softball Recap: Paetow Comes Up Short

Paetow managed to slip by Jordan the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Paetow came up short against Jordan on Friday, falling 12-2. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

MIA RUIZ was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

Paetow's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Jordan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Paetow Panthers take on College Station Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. College Station will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Paetow surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jordan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tompkins at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
