Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindale). They put the hurt on the Mabank Panthers with a sharp 25-1 win on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.
AJ McPherson looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Lindale got a massive performance out of Izzy Koonce, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave Koonce a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Merrick Gary, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Lindale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive matchups.
