Volleyball Recap: Shaw Comes Up Short

Shaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-9.

Anna Do was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 19 assists and three aces. She has been hot, having posted 16 or more assists the last seven times she's played.

Shaw's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Shaw will head out to take on Chattahoochee County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they will challenge LaGrange Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
