Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Ridge Comes Up Short

Pleasant Ridge was the 2-0 winner over Osawatomie when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Pleasant Ridge sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 21-25, 25-11.

Pleasant Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-7. As for Osawatomie, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.

Coincidentally, Pleasant Ridge and Osawatomie will both be playing Wellsville the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rams will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
