Baseball Recap: Union City Comes Up Short

Union City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 12-7 to the Peabody Golden Tide. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Tide this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Monday.

Union City's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Peabody, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-10.

Coming up, Union City will square off against Lake County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Falcons have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Peabody, they will face off against Dresden at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
