Baseball Game Preview: Classical Academy Caimans vs. Bishop's Knights

For the second straight game, Classical Academy will face off against Bishop. The Caimans will head out to face off against the Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games Classical Academy has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Monday, it was close, but Classical Academy sidestepped Bishop's for a 4-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Caimans in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Aidan Suitor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, Classical Academy's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Landon Falk, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Classical Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop's, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7-1.
