Recap: Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca Wolves vs. Riverside Frontiers
The Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca Wolves had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 55-51 win over Riverside on Friday. For Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca, this counts as revenge for the 61-55 loss Riverside walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Despite the loss, Riverside still got an impressive performance from Javon Elliot, who scored 19 points. Elliot is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaheim Foster, who scored 11 points.
Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Riverside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca will challenge City Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. City Honors will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Riverside, they will head out on the road to face off against Emerson Vo-Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Emerson Vo-Tech has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
