The West Geauga Wolverines will head out to take on the Kenston Bombers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Geauga is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.

Kenston will be up against a hot West Geauga team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Wolverines put the hurt on Hawken with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. West Geauga's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

They hit Hawken with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Adison Cook, Faelynn Beckrest, and Brooklyn Osolin.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 goals the game before, Kenston was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against Mayfield, falling 3-0. Kenston's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

West Geauga's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Kenston, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1.

West Geauga beat Kenston 4-2 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
