Wellington won against Open Door Christian on Tuesday with 70 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Dukes blew past the Mapleton Mounties 70-36. The game marked the Dukes' most dominant victory of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Wellington, bringing their record up to 6-15. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Mapleton, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Wellington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-40 win against Northwestern on the 20th. As for Mapleton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 60-43 loss against New London on the 20th.
