Rye won the last time they faced Rocky Ford and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Thunderbolts were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Meloneers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbolts.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rye took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-8.

Taylor Pye paced Rye's offense, picking up 11 kills. Pye got some help from Olivia Donlon and her 26 assists. Seine Roy controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Rye's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Rocky Ford, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rye will challenge rival Swink at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rocky Ford is set to take on their familiar foe Crowley County on Friday.
