Basketball Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

Riverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Oregon Episcopal Aardvarks 66-36. The match marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Oregon Episcopal, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Riverdale will be home for the holidays to greet Gaston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oregon Episcopal, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Colony at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Oregon Episcopal knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Colony likes a good challenge.
