The Seymour Owls will head out on the road to square off against the Brownstown Central Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seymour will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Seymour's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bedford North Lawrence 49-0 on the road. The Owls' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

They really took it to North Harrison for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-3 victory on the road. The 41-point effort marked the Braves' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Gregory Hutcheson and Micah J Sheffer were among the main playmakers for Brownstown Central as the former rushed for 107 yards on only eight carries and the latter rushed for 62 yards on only five carries. The dominant performance gave J Sheffer a new career-high in rushing yards.

The win snapped Seymour's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Brownstown Central, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
