Softball Recap: Potomac Senior Comes Up Short

Potomac Senior was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-3 to the Alexandria City Titans.

Lily Titus was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases. Those stolen bases marked the first that she snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zuri Coleman, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Potomac Senior's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Alexandria City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Coming up, Potomac Senior is taking a road trip to take on George C. Marshall at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alexandria City, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Forest Park at 2:00 p.m.
