Smith Center's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Enochs, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Enochs a new career-high in assists (five). Kyler Elliott was another key player, going 5-for-7 en route to 14 points.

Smith Center's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Minneapolis, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
