Soccer Game Preview: Southmoore vs. Yukon

The Southmoore SaberCats will challenge the Yukon Millers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Southmoore: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Yukon has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Southmoore fell victim to Norman and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last seven matchups, Yukon finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Norman North. The loss continues a trend for Yukon in their meetings with Norman North: they've now lost six in a row.

Yukon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Southmoore, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Southmoore suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Yukon in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the SaberCats were down 3-0.
