Baseball Game Preview: Southwind Jaguars vs. Kingsbury Falcons

The Southwind Jaguars will face off against the Kingsbury Falcons at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Southwind's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Kingsbury has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

If Southwind beats Kingsbury with 14 runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Southwind put the hurt on Fairley with a sharp 14-5 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

Demetrious Snow was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Muhammad Diallo, who scored two runs and stole Six bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Southwind always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .778. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Kingsbury hadn't done well against Kirby recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Kingsbury came out on top against Kirby by a score of 12-9.
