Basketball Game Preview: Nandua Warriors vs. Salisbury Christian

The Nandua Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Salisbury Christian Salisbury Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Nandua is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Cambridge-South Dorchester on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Nandua took a blow against Cambridge-South Dorchester, falling 55-11. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-5.

Meanwhile, Salisbury Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 51-32 fall against Greenwood Mennonite on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for Salisbury Christian in their matchups with Greenwood Mennonite: they've now lost five in a row.

Nandua now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Salisbury Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Nandua beat Salisbury Christian 49-36 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nandua since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
