Soccer Game Preview: West Creek vs. White House-Heritage

The West Creek Coyote are taking a road trip to face off against the White House-Heritage Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Creek's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

West Creek fell victim to Henry County and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time West Creek couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, White House-Heritage was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against Gallatin, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, White House-Heritage can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Gallatin are ranked 103rd).

West Creek now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for White House-Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1.

West Creek suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to White House-Heritage in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Coyote were down 3-0.
