The Paden Pirates are taking a road trip to challenge the Olive Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Paden took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over Leflore. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Jax McNeill made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last two matches. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That hit marked the first that he has got this season.

In other batting news, Paden got a massive performance out of Kanin Case, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave Case a new career-high.
