Basketball Recap: Lee County Snags 14th Win in Last 18 Games

Lee County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Clarke Central Gladiators 52-33 on Tuesday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Gladiators are ranked 293rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lee County has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Clarke Central, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.

Looking ahead, Lee County will venture away from home to challenge Bradwell Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradwell Institute will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lee County surely won't give up without a fight. Clarke Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
