Connellsville proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 21) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trinity Hillers, sneaking past 5-3. The win was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won three matchups in a row.
Kendal King spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits.
At the plate, Connellsville let Kaylee Roadman and Cali Leichliter run wild. Roadman went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Leichliter went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Leichliter is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
