Volleyball Recap: R-S Central Extends Winning Streak to Three

R-S Central entered their tilt with West Caldwell on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

R-S Central not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept West Caldwell to exactly 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Mya Calloway paced R-S Central's offense, picking up 13 kills. Calloway got some help from Lucy Sherburne and her 36 assists. Bonnie Trautman and Cam Johnson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

R-S Central's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for West Caldwell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

R-S Central has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against East Rutherford on the 9th. As for West Caldwell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Hibriten on the 9th.
