Football Recap: Christ School Starts Season with Loss at Home

Christ School unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 28-16 to the Ambassador Christian School Lions on Friday.

Ambassador Christian School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Weston Michalak out in front who threw for 270 yards and three TDs. A healthy portion of that aerial production (109 yards to be exact) went to Kenan Dixon, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christ School will square off against Providence Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ambassador Christian School, they will challenge North Raleigh Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
