Soccer Game Preview: Highland vs. Hobart

The Highland Trojans will face off against the Hobart Brickies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Highland will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Wednesday, then bounced right back against La Porte on Monday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Slicers with a sharp 7-2 victory. Considering Highland's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Their offense was hitting La Porte from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Wes Stover led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Hobart's contest on Monday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let Chesterton get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The victory was nothing new for Hobart as they're now sitting on three straight.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 6-8-1. As for Hobart, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-2.
