Baseball Game Preview: Cedar Creek Eagles vs. Anderson Trojans

The Cedar Creek Eagles will face off against the Anderson Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Creek has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cedar Creek lost 12-2 to Bastrop on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Bears since April 15, 2021.

Meanwhile, Anderson owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance two weeks ago. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Raptors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

This is the second loss in a row for Cedar Creek and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Anderson, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
