After a string of three wins, Wayland's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Sharon Eagles by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Wayland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Sharon, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayland will take on Westborough at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sharon, they will square off against Attleboro at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Bombardiers at the right time seeing as the Bombardiers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
