Basketball Game Preview: Van Nuys Wolves vs. Sylmar Spartans

The Van Nuys Wolves will head out to challenge the Sylmar Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Van Nuys came up short against Reseda on Friday, falling 81-57. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Sylmar came up short against Kennedy on Friday and fell 71-63.

Sylmar's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Van Nuys, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Van Nuys suffered a grim 94-71 defeat to Sylmar in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Van Nuys was down 50-19.
