Flag Football Recap: Leland Takes a Loss

The matchup between Leland and Branham on Friday hardly resembled the 20-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Chargers were beaten by the Bruins 48-12. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Leland now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Branham, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-5-1.

Coincidentally, Leland and Branham will both be playing Pioneer the next time they take the field. The Bruins will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Chargers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
