Ohio State landed its third Class of 2019 pledge Monday, receiving a commitment from EJ Liddell of Belleville West (Belleville, Ill.).

The 6-foot-7 forward checks in as the No. 48 overall prospect in the class of 2019, according to 247Sports.

Last season, Liddell led Belleville West to a 32-2 record, a IHSA Class 4A state title and No. 16 finish for the Maroons in the Final 2017-18 MaxPreps Top 25.

Liddell earned third-team MaxPreps Junior All-American honors last season, averaging 20.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, 5.9 blocks and 2.9 assists per game.

Liddell joins fellow top 50 prospects, D.J Carton of Bettendorf (Iowa) and Alonzo Gaffney of Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.) as the Buckeyes continue to gain steam on the recruiting trail.
