After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kearns, Hunter was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wolverines who were credited with the victory. The Hunter Wolverines got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Taylorsville Warriors's four. The win was a breath of fresh air for Hunter as it put an end to their 13-match losing streak.

Hunter's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-13 and their overall record up to 4-13. As for Taylorsville, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 6-12.
