Basketball Recap: Rayville Takes a Loss

Rayville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Oak Grove Tigers and fell 52-25. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Tigers are ranked 36th).

Rayville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Oak Grove, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Rayville will welcome Beekman Charter on Friday. Rayville is facing Beekman Charter at the right time seeing as Beekman Charter is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Oak Grove, they are taking a road trip to challenge Ouachita Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
