Volleyball Recap: Sandoval Gets the Win + How To Watch

Sandoval lost to Lebanon back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Blackhawks had just enough and edged out the Greyhounds 2-1.

Sandoval had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 28-26, 15-10.

Despite the defeat, Lebanon saw an underclassman step up: freshman Brilee Davenport had 23 digs and two aces.

Sandoval's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Lebanon, they dropped their record down to 1-18 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Sandoval will welcome Woodlawn at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lebanon, they will head out on the road to challenge Dupo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
