The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither Deep Run nor King William made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Cavaliers. The Wildcats' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Hope Tate made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Braelyn Baulsir was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Brooke Black was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run.
