Baseball Recap: Granite Falls Comes Up Short

Granite Falls came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-0 to the Overlake Owls. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Owls recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Granite Falls now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Overlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

While Granite Falls had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
