Basketball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee came up into this matchup off a tough 30-point loss last Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Central Yellow Jackets by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Shawnee will take on Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central, they will challenge Male at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
