Volleyball Recap: White Lake Lakers vs. Northland Lutheran Wildcats

White Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Northland Lutheran Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

White Lake started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-15, 26-24, 25-7.

Madalynn Wickersheim paced White Lake's offense, picking up six kills. Wickersheim got some help from Demi Kreciak and her eight assists. Wickersheim was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

White Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Northland Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
