Volleyball Recap: West Point Comes Up Short

West Point lost against Shadow Ridge on October 1st and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dragons came up short against the Stallions, falling 3-0.

Shadow Ridge was led to victory by Samantha Montoya and Aliyah Watts. Montoya had four digs and four aces, while Watts had ten digs and five aces. What's more, Montoya racked up 11 assists, the most she's had since back in September.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Shadow Ridge, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. West Point is set to challenge their familiar foe Valley Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Shadow Ridge will take on rival Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
