Spencer-Van Etten moved up to 341 from 384 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 4 D Division X. A 43-20 win over Moravia helped the Panthers improve their standing.
Tioga took down Candor 54-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Tigers take on Notre Dame. At the moment, Tioga is in first, while the Crusaders are in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Nick Aiello's team takes on Notre Dame. The Tigers have allowed 33 points this season, while Mike D'Aloisio's team has given up 37. Tioga allowed 6 points last week as it topped the Indians.
Spencer-Van Etten made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,596 from 10,436. The improvement was the result of 43-20 victory over the Blue Devils last week.
